Common Health Coalition is focused on Translating the hard-won lessons and successes of the COVID-19 pandemic response. into a strategy that can be implemented This will help strengthen cooperation between the public health system and the U.S. public health system. The coalition is the result of a shared public health commitment made. March 2023 by five founding member organizations
In early 2024, the Coalition will publish recommendations informed by a technical advisory group of subject matter experts. and an advisory council of public health leaders. The recommendations will focus on four priority areas: spearhead greater coordination between public health and health care systems; shared building A well-maintained emergency preparedness plan Creating national standards for health care data that help identify health disparities. and modernize the detection of infectious diseases. The development of these recommendations was facilitated by ChangeLab Solutions, a national nonprofit that uses legal and policy tools to advance health equity.
